We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer or Test Engineer to join our software team. We offer the chance to participate in complex and interesting international development projects.  

In this position you will join us working for major international companies with high requirements for quality. We want to help our customers build better quality products. Your main responsibilities include improving project quality by designing and implementing test assets for various projects, utilizing the identified best practices and suitable tools. You can focus mostly on one project at a time and will have support from our experts working on similar tasks.  

What should you expect to accomplish the first year? 

Your goal during the first year is to find your feet in our group, become a trusted member of project teams and solidify your expertise in the area. You will take part in our projects and offer your know-how in building and defining sustainable solutions for our clients.  

Your Project Manager/Scrum Master will introduce you to the project, your responsibilities, tasks and expectations. Your success is measured by collecting feedback from your colleagues, customers and yourself and by your own satisfaction.

Requirement 

• You want the customer to have successful products and understand customer needs. 

• You are familiar with planning and executing test plans/specifications/reports. You also have good knowledge about quality metrics for software products. 

• You have good understanding about test automation frameworks (like RobotFramework) and tools like Jenkins and Docker. 

• You are comfortable with DevOps (Azure, AWS DevOps) and you own analytical and possess problem-solving skills. 

• Both Finnish and English are needed as working languages.  

Seen as bonus 

• You have experience in front-end (Angular, React) or in back-end development (Java, Node.JS). 

• You have worked with test automation architecture including mobile devices. 

• You have network and system administration experience. 

• You are familiar with markup languages and scripting. 

• Agile methodologies knowhow is a plus, as you will most likely be part of a scrum team.
